CDYSL Club Pass Player Policy
NEW for Clubs,
the original Guest Player Policy had the word "Guest" Player changed to "Club Pass" Players.
This switch allows Coaches/Managers/Registrar to add eligible Club Pass Players up to three (3) days prior to the match. The Club Pass Player, registered on a roster from one team within a club is temporarily allowed to "guest play" for another team in the same club for a specific league game or tournament.
All rules of the original policy are UNCHANGED and clubs must abide by them.
Roster Rules are to be strictly followed for Game Day.
For USYSA Age 08 through U19 Travel Players: In order to help clubs reduce the potential for game forfeitures due to lack of players, CDYSL allows Club Pass players for spring season league play.
The Club Pass Player Policy applies to CDYSL League Games Only:
CDYSL allows Club Pass players for CDYSL spring season league play, with the following limitations:.
• All Club Pass players must be registered with CDYSL as travel players within the same member club
• Club Pass Player between clubs is NOT authorized.
• There is a limit to the number of Club Pass players permitted per game.(see Roster Rules)
• There is a limit to the total number of players playing in a particular game when Club Pass Player are used.
• For safety reasons, we want to limit how many age groups up a Club Pass player could go (i.e. we don’t want a 12 year old playing on a U17 team).
• To avoid “stacking” a team, we want to prevent players registered with a higher Division team, either upper age group (U16 eligible player playing on a U17 can’t guest play on U16) or higher Division team (Division A team player can’t guest play on a Division B team).
