Review the Complete By-Laws for Membership in CDYSL, Article I, Membership, page 3 on Resources Page (below is a general outline)

1. Full Membership- 

• Attend all Board of Director Meetings
• Teams are fully registered with CDYSL
• 3 or more travel teams and/or 3 or more team participating in travel league play
• You have full voting rights at the Board of Director meetings and the Annual General Meeting

2. Limited Membership-

• Must have at least twenty (20) recreational players registered or one (1) travel team registered
• No voting rights at the Annual General Meeting or any Board of Directors meetings
• Must attend the Annual General Meeting 
• Limited Member clubs may apply for Full Member Level according to the Rules for admission of new clubs ---If the Club has been in-active status for twelve (12) consecutive months prior, then upon approval the club membership level will be changed to Full Member level

3.  CDYSL may admit clubs from outside the jurisdiction of the League provided they are not currently under suspension of or have had charges filed against them.

4.  Intramural Leagues and other organizations, which do not participate in scheduled League competition, but desire to play exhibition matches and secure the various benefit of League membership, should just join as a limited member and pay any affiliation fees.

Club membership Status Definitions

1. Active: Fulfilled their obligation in accordance with their level of membership to CDYSL during the previous seasonal year

2. Probationary: New Member Clubs or Clubs being moved from inactive status will be in a probationary status for twelve (12) months or probationary status they must fulfilled all of their membership level obligations. They will not have voting rights until they have become an active member club.

3.  In-active:  Member Clubs that have not fulfilled their obligations in accordance with their level of membership during previous annual year shall be moved to inactive status.  These clubs will be moved to probationary status once they start fulfilling their membership level with CDYSL.  

4. Non-member:  Member clubs that have been INACTIVE status for two (2) consecutive years will be dropped from CDYSL Membership at the next AGM.
